John Casey

John Casey is a highly experienced media executive, most recently President and Managing Director of CNBC International. Previously, John led CNBC’s global news and content operations and its affiliate partnerships across EMEA. He was the creator of ‘Worldwide Exchange’, the world’s first live newscast, broadcast simultaneously in Asia, Europe and the U.S., and earlier in his career he developed CNBC Europe’s rolling, volume-driven ticker.
John resigned from CNBC to expand his board directorship portfolio. He is currently Adviser to the Amos Bursary and Vice-chair & Trustee of the Day One Trust, which is working to build more diverse and sustainable creative industries. John advises Casey Wishart on EDI strategy, both in the content we produce and our company culture, and supports talent acquisition and management.
