News veteran Cutmore joins CW&

Casey Wishart signs strategic partnership with business news heavyweight Geoff Cutmore

In response to client demand for high-profile moderators and end-to-end event content management, Casey Wishart & Partners (‘CW&’) has forged a strategic agreement with Geoff Cutmore, the distinguished CNBC veteran who is among Europe’s most accomplished financial news broadcasters.

Cutmore left his role anchoring CNBC International’s primetime breakfast news programme, Squawk Box Europe, in June of this year after nearly 30 years at the business and financial news network.

At CNBC, he was recognised for his sophisticated understanding of global financial markets and his particular interest in China, developed while working for nearly a decade in Hong Kong, presenting for some years on CNBC Asia.

As a broadcast journalist he has covered the World Economic Forum and IMF meetings and interviewed global policymakers including Vladimir Putin, George Soros, Christine Lagarde and several British Prime Ministers. He has moderated panels for the IMF, the World Bank and the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

CW& was founded on a conviction that content can and should drive business growth. On this basis it provides business and financial marketers with a higher quality option for developing and producing thought leadership and content marketing.

With this new partnership we intend to provide corporations with support that resonates at the very highest level of their client and stakeholder community. We expect our clients to embrace this opportunity to have Geoff co-host or moderate key stakeholder events, to provide confidential senior executive media coaching and to offer strategic content support.

Geoff will also be supporting CW&’s new research offering, helping clients to develop thought leadership research strategies that will deliver them powerful earned media.

Geoff says: “Getting the message right and projecting the correct image is always a challenge. I’m excited to work with CW& on projects that will help the C-suite shine and demonstrate a company’s market value.”

CW& Co-Founders, Satwant Wishart and Roslyn Casey Shaw, say: “We’re delighted to be working with Geoff again after having worked with him at CNBC. Adding his services to our offering is a testament to the positive response we have had from clients to our end-to-end events approach.”

This approach now includes developing event themes, session content, tech-led event experiences and capturing content for post-event sales activation.
