John Laing: 175 year anniversary

The stories of our past are often vital to communicating where we are headed in the future.

Such was the case for John Laing, leading British investor across infrastructure sectors, in commissioning a video to mark its 175th anniversary.

Diligent work by the John Laing charitable trust meant the company had access to archive material dating back to 1895, including photos of Founder John Laing, projects undertaken during the two World Wars and recordings of the Royal Family.

Just as relevant was the range of modern-day footage of its large-scale, global infrastructure projects around the globe.

These were the makings of a gift of a project for our creative team. Design Partner Audrey Anastasy concepted an animation that quite literally brings to life the strong foundations of John Laing’s heritage alongside the equal strength of its future.
