Experis: Amplifying authority

Experis is a specialist in workforce solutions for the technology sector - an area of acute focus as the interplay between human expertise and AI is renegotiated daily. In times of profound change, leaders are especially interested in the thoughts and ideas of their peers. Experis responded by producing a large, global, survey-based CIO Report that was able to quantify and clarify the way companies are navigating today's technology shifts. To showcase the report's findings, we supported Experis to invite a group of expert voices and CIOs to join them at VivaTech in Paris - Europe's largest technology symposium - to bring context and explanation to the survey data. Edited video highlights and a designed article were produced with 48 hours of the discussion and shared with panelists and attendees, supporting distribution and deepening interactions between those involved.

Speakers: Emma Almond - Global Head of Communications & Partnerships, ManpowerGroup; Philippe Limantour - Chief Technology & Cybersecurity Officer, Microsoft FR; James Hallahan - European MD, Experis

Emma Almond: On the one hand, AI is making it easier to attack, but on the other hand, it's making it easier to spot the attackers and to train people to notice them.

Philippe Limantour: At Microsoft, we decided that security is number one job for everyone. A core business, it is embedded in the performance metrics of anyone.

James Hallahan: Over 90% of cyber attacks start with social engineering and the psychology of human behaviours.

And therefore, 90% of those attacks are cyber criminals logging into the system, not breaking into the systems.
